Job Summary
Ensure Cradle parts and processes meet customer expectations. Give Cradles team/lines approval or not to proceed with production, support plant needs as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality audits and inspections
- Make decisions on findings and support customer specific standards
- Promote good housekeeping and safety
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
- Develop and facilitate training
- Provide performance coaching
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a QA Auditor
- Proven track record in cosmetic, functional testing, and dimensional inspections
- GD&T, Weld Standards, Manufacturing Practices, SPC training
- Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of precision measuring tools
- Casting experience a plus
- 3-5 years experience in a quality auditing/engineering role, preferably with production supervisor experience in the automotive manufacturing environment
